Summer is right around the corner and some days may feel like it is already here. Well, we have a wine that won't break the pocketbook and you won't feel bad if you choose to say, make sangria to cope with the heat or mulled wine in the winter. This is also a great sipping BBQ wine.
Right off the bat, give this wine a couple of minutes after you open it. It has been cooped up for 8 years in that bottle and needs a little time to stretch its legs. You will be rewarded with mild, pleasant notes of dried fruit and raisin notes on the palette.
Drink this now or through the summer. Don't let it sit in your cellar for too long.
Pairings: Al Pastor or Barbacoa Tacos, Paella with Chicken and Shrimp, Spicy Baby Back Ribs, Blue Cheese Lamb Burger, Spicy Cauliflower Tikka Masala, or try it with some sweet Strawberries drizzled with Honey
